Hammie Beagle Adult - Adoption, Rescue for sale in Wake Forest, North Carolina

$350

The name? We figure you are going to want to know about the name? We are not always sure how it works at the farm but are pretty sure this adorable beagle got the right one for a variety of reasons. Hammie is about 2 years old and very underweight at maybe 18 lbs right now. Enter, the name Hammie. We are certain every time that we see him that likely nothing would make him happier than a ham sandwich on rye, with mayo, lots of cheese and chips on the side because this sweet boy needs a number of extra lbs to fill out. In spite of obviously have led a pretty meager life up until his arrival at the farm, this little guy is a ham of a beagle who has gotten along with every other dog he has met, bigger, smaller, fluffier, manlier, it does not matter! Hammie has a voice and he will use it but it is simply adorable that it is only to tell you he is hungry and wants to eat and tell you when he wants to go outside to potty because if those basic needs are met, he settles in the crate like the lovely boy he is and takes a good long nap. Nothing like one of those on a full stomach he has found! Hammie has not likely had any formal training on life in a house, but has shown he is game for just about anything. We suspect he would be a great companion for children of all ages and clearly is a dream if integrating into a house with another dog. Hammie enjoys roaming the field, in true hound form, with nose to the ground and tail held high. Hammie is ready, ready finally for a home, a place to call his own to sleep at night and a regular and predictable bowl of food and in exchange can be the ham at your next party or neighborhood gathering! Not a bad trade we think!
