I got this bass (along with a bunch of other stuff) about 2 years ago from a music store that was closing. I had always wanted one just to try out. I had played some in high school and I thought it might be fun to try playing a little bluegrass.

Unfortunately I just haven't touched it the entire time I've had it. And, I moved into a smaller place and I no longer have the room to keep things that I'm not using no matter how much I'd like to. So, this needs to go. Very cool to have and I'd love to keep it, but I just can't.

This is a Cremona SB-2 3/4 sized upright bass. It comes with a black 600-Denier nylon padded gig bag and a stand (very handy). From the manufacturer's web site, here is the list of features:

* Select Spruce top
* Maple back and sides
* Arched-back construction
* Double kerfing
* Inlaid purfling
* Ebony fingerboard & tailpiece
* Adjustable, aged northern maple bridge
* Boxwood endpin
* Accurate 24:1 ratio Tyrolian-style machine heads
* Meets Recommended Educational Specifications

The bass, bag and stand are all in practically new condition. I can't see anything anywhere that would indicate they are anything but new, but I'm sure there is something somewhere that I just haven't found.

List price on the bass and stand combination is $1259. Buying this from Musician's Friend or a similar site would cost you $954 including shipping. This thing is too big for them to ship for free, so they do charge on this item. I would love to get $700 for this package. I will consider reasonable offers, but at $700 to have this in your hands today is a good deal already.
